Bianca Marroquin is a trailblazing Broadway actress and recording artist whose career has bridged the vibrant worlds of both American and Mexican theater. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Bianca became the first Mexican actress to star on Broadway, captivating audiences in her iconic role as Roxie Hart in the revival of Chicago. Her remarkable journey has taken her from Mexico City’s renowned stages, where she starred in beloved productions such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Rent, Phantom of the Opera, The Vagina Monologues, and Chicago, to Broadway’s Chicago (and more), where she has left an indelible mark, as well. In addition to her acting prowess, Bianca’s artistry extends to the music world with her solo album, El Mundo Era Mio, which blends contemporary pop and Latin influences, featuring songs she co-wrote and performed alongside live studio musicians.

Bianca’s contributions to theater have been widely recognized, making her a beacon of pride for both the U.S. and Mexico. She made history as the first Mexican to receive the prestigious Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in Washington D.C. Most recently, she brought her talents to the screen, portraying the legendary Chita Rivera in the FX limited series Fosse/Verdon (2019).
