This Experience shows why UNESCO recognizes “The Traditional Mexican Cuisine” as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It’s full of scents and flavors been carried on for generations by the practicing of a protective way of living.

The great variety of cultures within Mexico creates different identities of flavors been noticed by regions. Understanding The Traditional Mexican Cuisine is understanding those region identities filled of scents and flavors. Understanding Mexico is understanding the saying…“MI CASA ES TU CASA.

NOT AT HOME VENUES, THIS EXPERIENCE TAKES PLACE AT AN SPACIOUS LOCAL RESTAURANTE. Since there is real cooking in this Experience an ample conventional restaurant is indeed require. Chefs, Cooks and your Experience Host are involved to safeguard your safety and carefully provide a quality Cooking Experience you all deserve.

ITINERARY

SINCE THERE AREN’T REAL LOCAL FARMERS’ MARKETS IN THE CITY YOU WON’T BE WASTING WASTING TIME IN PURCHASING INGREDIENTS FOR COOKING CLASS AS SOME OTHER TOUR COMPANIES IN THE CITY DO, BUT INSTEAD IMMERGE INTO A REAL COOKING EXPERIENCE RIGHT IMMEDIATELY. Lots of cooking involve so we have done some preps for you already.

We first start with a little Introduction of The Traditional Mexican Cuisine while preparing both; Aguas Frescas (refreshments) and Antojitos Mexicanos as an introductory . Antojitos are Fusion-Flavored starters of Pre-hispanic influences.

The Main Course is a Traditional Mexican Dish varying from time to time such as; Chiles Rellenos, Pipian, Mole, etc.. Seafood Lovers will prepare a Cielo, Mar y Tierra Molcajete (volcanic rock mortar) with Octopus, Shrimps, Flank Steak & Chicken. Optional Surcharge for Red Snapper or Lobster based upon your choice. We’ll also prepare side dishes to accompany our main courses.

Traditional Cuisine mostly is based on corn and different type of chili peppers. The Dishes you prepare could be accompanied with flavored Mexican wine of selected Winery or any other drink of optional choices (additional cost applies).
